The lost Cascades manuscript of Peter Misch
Peter Misch, an expert on Cascades geology who spent most of his career at the University of Washington, near the end of his career penned a manuscript summarizing many aspects of the geology of the Cascades Core rocks as revealed by his extensive fieldwork and laboratory analysis. This text was mimeographed, and sent to younger workers, but was never published.
In 2007 a friend of Dr. Misch, Kathleen Grega Digges, funded the typesetting and distribution of this manuscript, which contains valuable field data for today's Cascade geologists.
