The James L. Talbot Scholarship

This award of $500 is given annually to a student who is declared as a B.S. in the Geology Concentration who can demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need.

Deadline

The deadline for applications is typically April 15, unless that falls on a weekend or holiday, in which case the deadline will be the following school day.

How to apply

Submit the following to Chris Sutton in the Geology Office:

1. an application letter addressing your financial need and career goals
2. a current transcript for any non-WWU coursework.
3. a current resume, including your work history, outside or community service, and professional affiliations.
