1. Understand how to use ArcGIS to solve geologic problems and make geologic maps.	1.1 Acquire relevant geologic spatial data from network archives. 1.2 Use a spatial approach to solving geologic problems 1.3 Construct a proper map with standard map elements.
2. Achieve moderate proficiency using computers and programs.	2.1 Develop ArcGIS proficiency and trouble-shooting skills. 2.2 Operate MS Windows, navigate network drives, and use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 2.3 Manage data in an organized, efficient manner.
